Kupah James is a force of nature. He is a man who wholeheartedly loves what he does down to every last detail. In combining his passions, natural talent, and life experiences, he has created a one-of-a-kind brand and entrepreneurial business model that is driven by his endless ideas, big heart and innovative visions. He is frequently heard encouraging those around him to #MakeMoves, which he defines as recognizing your self-worth and striving for a specific goal or direction in life - be it physical, business-oriented, personal, or all of the above. Prior to being cast on Season 11 of ABC's The Bachelorette (2015), Kupah made a name for himself in his hometown, Boston, MA, with accolades including: being voted by STUFF Magazine as one of Boston's Sexiest (2011), named one of AOL's Boston Authentics (2012), featured on Pandora Internet Radio (2013), DJing the Red Sox World Series Celebration (2013), and currently serving as Google's official Massachusetts DJ.

As CEO of Klass Universal Entertainment, Kupah is a favorite, frequent DJ choice with premier event planners. In 2009, Kupah founded Klass and employs a roster of chic, sophisticated, first-class DJs, Emcees, and Motivators (professional dancers who hit the dance floor when the music starts and keep the party going all night). For the past decade, he has consistently fielded requests to book private, corporate, club, and non-profit engagements infused with his trademark #MakeMoves brand of energy and customized sound. He has performed for audiences including Hillary Clinton, President Bill Clinton, the New England Patriots, and Donald Trump. He also regularly hosts events at hotspots in Boston like Lolita, Taj Boston and the Revere Hotel and serves as musical curator for Vintage Lounge and Kimpton Hotel's Highball Lounge. Kupah has a solid reputation as one of the most sought-after, elite entertainers in the northeast and beyond.

Motivational Speaker
Raised by a single mom right outside Boston in Haverhill, MA, Kupah faced adversity, poverty and racism at a young age. Refusing to be discouraged by these challenges, he instead repurposed his humble upbringing into the motivation to get a college degree, launch his ever-expanding brand, become actively involved in anti-domestic violence campaigns, and inspire and encourage kids coming of age in similar environments. Kupah speaks to high school boys and offers guidance regarding choices related to school, relationships, career, and life, with a special emphasis on the importance of respect for women.

Fitness / Whet
When Not DJing, emceeing, performing CEO Duties, or motivating local youth, Kupah can be found leading his own personal brand of open format fitness classes, "WHET" wherein his energy freestyle choreography challenges and motivates participants to get healthy. The word “whet,” by definition, means to sharpen, and Kupah has focused his classes on that for the past ten years — sharpening members’ health, mentality, and their focus on fun. “WHET” classes are 45 minutes of pulse-pounding, hand clapping, interactive dance; an entire experience and journey led by Kupah and set to his specifically designed fitness mixes— ranging in today’s most popular genres of: T40, Dance, Latin, Reggae, Hip-Hop, and remixes. “WHET” classes are featured across Massachusetts at: Equinox, and Bayshore Athletic Club where you can find him weekly. Kupah also offers “WHET” Master Classes for schools, town festivals and private parties.
